Demodeks blefariti tanısı konulan hastaların verileri tedavi öncesi ve bir aylık tedavi sonrasında tekrar değerlendirildi. BulgularÇalışmaya dahil edilen 89 hastanın ortalama yaş 51,85 ± 17,80 yıldı. Yaşın artmasıyla Demodeks blefariti şiddetinin artarken (p= 0,014), cinsiyetin Demodeks blefariti şiddeti üzerine anlamlı bir etkisi yoktu, ancak semptom süresiyle hastalığın şiddeti koreleydi (p KW - Demodeks blefariti KW - Demodeks follicularum KW - Demodeks Epidemiyolojisi KW - Mayt enfestasyonu N2 - Evaluation of Epidemiological and Clinical Characteristics of Patients with Demodex Blepharitis: A Retrospective StudyAim: The study aims to thoroughly analyze the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of patients with Demodex blepharitis with evaluating the risk factors, and clinical manifestations.Materials and Methods: The study involved a retrospective review of patient records who visited our ophthalmology clinics between January 2023-2024. The review included age, gender, demographic data, symptom durations, clinical data, Demodex counts, and the severity of Demodex blepharitis. The data of patients diagnosed with Demodex blepharitis were re-evaluated before and after one month of treatment. Results: The average age of the 89 patients included in the study was 51.85 ± 17.80 years. The severity of Demodex blepharitis increased with age(p=0.014), gender had no significant effect on the severity. However, the duration of symptoms correlated with the severity of the disease(p CR - 1. Zhang AC, Muntz A, Wang MT, Craig JP, Downie LE.
