For this purpose, the document analysis method, one of the qualitative research approaches, was used. The data source of the research consists of the 2018 Social Studies Curriculum (4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grades), the 2024 Social Studies Curriculum (4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grades), and the Common Text of the Türkiye Century Education Model Curriculum. The curricula and the Common Text of the Türkiye Century Education Model Curriculum were subjected to descriptive analysis by examining the dimensions of acquisition, learning areas, skills and literacies, values, and assessment and evaluation. The findings were explained by providing tables and figures. The research concluded that, compared to the 2018 Social Studies Curriculum, the number of learning outcomes in the 2024 Social Studies Curriculum was reduced, there were changes in the content of the subjects, environmental literacy and map literacy were removed from the program, the number of skills increased but sub-skills directly related to geography were not included in the program, and values education was emphasized. Based on the findings, it is recommended that the curricula be examined in more detail with different approaches.}, number={1}, publisher={Ankara Üniversitesi}
