The findings of the study show five general conceptualizations that are HEAD IS THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PERSON, HEAD IS THE SEAT OF MENTAL FACULTIES, HEAD IS THE LOCUS OF EMOTIONS, HEAD IS THE SIGN OF SIGNIFICANCE and HEAD IS THE SIGN OF POWER. The results demonstrate that specific level conceptualizations under the general categories display culture-specific aspects in proverb meanings.}, number={2}, publisher={Ankara Üniversitesi}
