AB  - Bu çalışmanın amacı kekemeliği olan çocukların mizaç özellikleri, kendi konuşmalarına ilişkin tutumları, ebeveynlerin çocuklarıyla olan iletişim tutumları ve kekemelik sıklığı arasında ilişkileri incelemektir. Çalışmanın katılımcılarını 4;0- 5;11 yaş aralığında, 15 kekemeliği olan ( 12 erkek ve 3 kız)  çocuk oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, “Çocuk Davranış Listesi (ÇDL)’’ ve ‘’ KiddyCAT-TR (Kekeleyen Okul Öncesi Çocukları İçin İletişim Tutum Testi) ve Ebeveyn Tutum Testi (ETÖ) kullanılmıştır. Veriler; değişkenler arasındaki ilişkilerin incelenmesi için SPSS kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Normal dağılım göstermeyen değişkenler için Spearman korelasyonu uygulanmıştır.Yapılan analizler sonucunda, ÇDL alt ölçekleri ile ETÖ alt ölçekleri arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur(r=0.520, p=0.047). Bu ilişki mizaç özellikleri ile ebeveyn tutumlarını birbirini etkilediğini göstermektedir. Ancak kekemelik sıklığı ve diğer ölçekler (ETÖ, ÇDL ve KiddyCAT-TR) arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır (p>0.05).Araştırmada, kekemeliği olan okul öncesi çocuklarda otoriter bir ebeveyn tutumunun çocuk davranışları üzerine etkisinin olduğunu göstermektedir. Çocuğuna daha otoriter bir tutum sergileyen ebeveynlerin çocuklarının mizaç özelliği olarak daha kızgın bir yapıda olduğu, benzer şekilde daha otoriter bir tutum sergileyen ailelerin çocuklarının dikkati odaklama performanslarının daha düşük olduğu görülmüştür. Kekemelik sıklığının mizaç özellikleri, iletişim tutumu ve ebeveyn tutumuyla bir ilişkisi bulunmamaktadır. Sonuçlar ebeveyn tutumlarının çocukların duygusal ve davranışsal özellikleriyle anlamlı ilişkiler ortaya koyduğunu göstermektedir.
