AB  - Sanat Tarihi Dergisi'nin , Cilt 32 Sayı:2'de yayımlanmış olan bir makaleyle ilgili tespit ve öneriler sunulmaktadır. Söz konusu makale, Ö.Eren Koyunoğlu tarafından yazılmış, “ÜÇ MODERN HEYKELTIRAŞ, ÜÇ YORUM; RODİN, BOCCİONİ VE GİACOMETTİ’NİN YÜRÜYEN ADAMLARI”dır. Makalede, Modernizm'in olgun dönemi diyebileceğimiz bir süreçte üretimleri olan üç heykeltıraşın 'yürüyen adam' figürleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Editöre mektup metninde ise bu heykeltıraşların figüratif anlayışlarıyla ilgili terminolojik bulanıklıklara ve yorumlara öneriler getirilmiştir. Heykel sanatı disiplini içerisinde bu muallak kullanımların varlığı çözümlemeleri zorlaştırmaktadır. Bu mektubun amacı da heykel çözümlemesi yapacak olan akademisyen ve araştırmacıların terminolojiyi doğru kullanmaları ve daha geniş bir perspektiften bakmalarına katkı sunmaktır.

N2  - Determinations and suggestions regarding an article published in the Journal of Art History, Volume 32, Issue 2 are presented. The article in question is ‘THREE MODERN SCULPTORS, THREE INTERPRETATIONS; RODIN, BOCCIONI AND GIACOMETTI'S WALKING MEN’ written by Ö.Eren Koyunoğlu. In the article, the ‘walking man’ figures of three sculptors, whose works were produced in a period that we can call the mature period of Modernism, are compared. In the letter to the editor, suggestions are made to the terminological ambiguities and interpretations regarding the figurative understanding of these sculptors. The existence of these ambiguous usages within the discipline of sculpture art makes analyses difficult. The aim of this letter is to contribute to the academicians and researchers who will analyse sculpture to use the terminology correctly and to look at it from a wider perspective.
