AB  - Amaç: Araştırma, pediatri kliniklerinde çalışan hemşirelerin karşılayamadıkları bakım gereksinimleri ve nedenlerini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tasarımdaki araştırmanın evrenini; bir üniversite hastanesinin pediatri kliniklerinde çalışan 130 hemşire oluşturmuştur. Veriler; Hemşire Bilgi Formu ve MISSCARE–Pediatrik versiyon aracılığıyla Nisan – Haziran 2022 tarihlerinde çevrimiçi olarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde; betimleyici istatistiklerden yararlanılmıştır. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin (n=109); yaş ortalamaları 30.21±1.25 yıl, %74.3’ü kadın cinsiyette ve %90.8’i lisans mezunudur. Son vardiyalarında hemşirelerin sıklıkla ilaç uygulamalarını zamanında gerçekleştiremediği (%22.9), gelişimsel bakım uygulayamadığı (%19.3), çocuğa ve ailesine duygusal destek sağlayamadığı (%18.3) bulunmuştur. MISSCARE Pediatrik versiyon nedenler bölümü için alt boyut puan ortalamaları sırasıyla İş Kaynağı = 3.02±0.68, İletişim = 2.38±0.77 ve Ekipman = 2.58±0.84 şeklinde saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Hemşirelerin son vardiyalarında çocuk ve ailelerinin bakım gereksinimlerini karşılayamama nedenleri arasında ilk sırada iş kaynağı ile ilişkili faktörler yer almıştır. Hemşire sayısının yetersiz olması, iş kaynağına yönelik nedenlerin temelini oluşturmuştur.

N2  - Aim: This study was conducted to determine the missed care needs and the reasons for that among nurses working in pediatric clinics. Method: The population of this descriptive study consisted of 130 nurses working in the pediatric clinics of a university hospital. Data were collected online between April and June 2022 through the Nurse Information Form and the MISSCARE-Pediatric version. Descriptive statistics were used to evaluate the data. Results: The mean age of the nurses (n=109) was 30.21±1.25 years, 74.3% were female, and 90.8% held a bachelor's degrees. It was found that nurses often could not administer medication on time (22.9%), provide developmental care (19.3%), or offer emotional support to the child and family (18.3%) during their last shifts. The mean subscale scores of MISSCARE Pediatric version - Reasons section were determined as Labor Resource = 3.02±0.68, Communication = 2.38±0.77, and Material Resources = 2.58±0.84, respectively. Conclusion: In the last shifts, labor resources-related factors were ranked first among the reasons why nurses were not able to meet the care needs of children and their families. The insufficient number of nurses formed the basis of the reasons related to labor resources.
