AB  - Bu çalışma, geriatrik logoterapinin sosyal hizmet alanında uygulanabilirliğini inceleyen bir derleme çalışmasıdır. Geriatrik logoterapi, yaşlı bireylerin yaşamlarının ileri dönemlerinde karşılaştıkları psikososyal sorunları ele almayı amaçlayan ve onların anlam arayışlarına rehberlik ederek yaşam kalitesini ve psikososyal refahlarını artırmayı hedefleyen bir terapi yöntemidir. Çalışmada, geriatrik logoterapi ile ilgili mevcut literatür taranmış ve sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının bu teknikleri nasıl kullanabileceği değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada, geriatrik logoterapinin, sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının yaşlılıkla ilgili depresyon, yalnızlık ve sosyal izolasyon gibi sorunlarla başa çıkmalarında etkili bir araç olduğu ele alınmaktadır. Ayrıca geriatrik logoterapinin sosyal hizmet uygulamaları kapsamında yaşlı bireylerin psikososyal ihtiyaçlarını karşılamada önemli bir rol oynayabileceği vurgulanmaktadır. Sonuç olarak geriatrik logoterapinin sosyal hizmet eğitim programlarına dahil edilmesi ve sosyal hizmet uzmanlarının bu alanda eğitim alarak uygulama becerilerini geliştirmeleri önerilmektedir.

N2  - This study is a review examining the applicability of geriatric logotherapy in the field of social work. Geriatric logotherapy is a therapeutic approach aimed at addressing the psychosocial issues faced by elderly individuals in the later stages of life, guiding them in their search for meaning, and thereby enhancing their quality of life and psychosocial well-being. In this study, the existing literature on geriatric logotherapy has been reviewed, and the ways in which social workers can utilize these techniques have been evaluated. The study discusses how geriatric logotherapy serves as an effective tool for social workers in addressing issues related to aging, such as depression, loneliness, and social isolation. Additionally, the study emphasizes that geriatric logotherapy plays a significant role in addressing the psychosocial needs of elderly individuals within the context of social work practices. In conclusion, it is recommended that geriatric logotherapy be included in social work education programs, and that social workers receive training in this area to enhance their practical skills.
