AB  - İçerisinde var olduğumuz dünya düzeni beraberinde tasarım alanındaki farklı ihtiyaçları ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Bir tasarımın fikir üretiminden projenin teslimine kadar olan süreçte, bu ihtiyaçlara dikkat edilmesi durumunda, projenin işlevselliği ve faydası önemli bir boyuta ulaşmaktadır.  Günümüzde artık bir gereksinim olarak görülen evrensel tasarım ve sürdürülebilirlik bu olumlu etkilere zemin hazırlayacak ihtiyaçlardır. Bu çalışmada, evrensel tasarım ve sürdürülebilirlik kavramları ofis mekanları üzerinden incelenmiştir. Tasarımlarda bu kavramlara dikkat edilmesi durumunda kullanıcının motivasyonu ve üretkenliğinde olumlu değişimlerin yaşanabildiği ve bu olumlu etkilerin de farklı pozitif sonuçları doğurabilme imkanı olduğu düşünülmektedir.Çalışmada evrensel tasarım, sürdürülebilirlik ve ofis kavramlarının tanımlanmalarının ardından, bu üç kümenin ara kesiti ortaya çıkarılmak istenmiştir. Ortaya çıkan sonucun ofis iç mekanlarına olan yansımaları incelenmiştir. Araştırma ve analiz etme süreçlerinin sonrasında bu çalışma, ofislerin hangi kriterler ile evrensel tasarım ve sürdürülebilirliğin düşünüldüğü mekanlar haline geleceğinin, bu sonuçların da tasarıma nasıl dahil edilebileceğinin ve başarılı olunduğu taktirde etkilerinin nasıl görülebileceğinin aktarılması amaçlamaktadır.Araştırma başlangıcında ilişkisel araştırma yaklaşımı üzerinde durulmuştur. Literatür araştırması için ise, onaylanmış yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinden, çevrim içi ve basılı kitaplardan, internet sitelerinden, süreli yayınlardan, projelerin ve tasarımcıların sosyal medya hesaplarından ve çevrim içi sözlüklerden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmalar tablo düzeni ve şekiller ile desteklenmiştir.Sonuç olarak, iki kavramın da ofislere olan etkileri yalnızca kullanıcı bağlamında sınırlı kalmamıştır. Bu etkilerin birçok farklı alanda görüldüğü tespit edilmiştir. Küresel ölçüde çevreye, ulusal boyutta da hem topluma hem de ekonomiye katkıları olduğu ulaşılmış bir sonuç olmuştur.

N2  - The world order we live in brings with it different needs in the field of design. If these needs are taken into consideration throughout the process from the conception of a design to the delivery of a project, the functionality and usefulness of the project will reach a significant level. Universal design and sustainability, which are now seen as necessities, are needs that will pave the way for these positive effects. In this study, the concepts of universal design and sustainability were examined through office spaces. It is believed that paying attention to these concepts in designs can bring about positive changes in user motivation and productivity, and that these positive effects can also lead to different positive results.Following the definitions of universal design, sustainability, and office concepts in the study, the intersection of these three sets was sought to be revealed. The reflections of the resulting outcome on office interiors were examined. Following the research and analysis processes, this study aims to convey the criteria by which offices can become spaces that consider universal design and sustainability, how these results can be incorporated into design, and how their effects can be seen if successful.At the beginning of the research, a relational research approach was adopted. For the literature review, approved master's and doctoral theses, online and printed books, websites, periodicals, social media accounts of projects and designers, and online dictionaries were utilized. The research was supported by tables and figures.In conclusion, the effects of both concepts on offices are not limited to the user context. It has been determined that these effects are observed in many different areas. It has been concluded that they contribute to the environment on a global scale and to both society and the economy on a national scale.
