KW - ilaç uyumu KW - teknoloji KW - tedaviye uyum KW - akıllı ilaç takip sistemleri N2 - Medication non-adherence is a significant issue that negatively affects patient outcomes and healthcare systems' sustainability. Many patients struggle to follow their treatments, which has adverse consequences for both individual health outcomes and the overall healthcare system. With the advancement and widespread adoption of digital technologies, innovative technological approaches have emerged for monitoring medication adherence. Although electronic monitoring systems have provided the most reliable and comprehensive data on medication adherence, they are not yet widely used in routine care. These technological approaches include electronic pillboxes, electronic pill bottles, smart blister packs, smart inhalers, ingestible sensors, wireless observed therapy, electronic medication management systems, mobile health applications, and smartwatches. This review article examines current approaches by presenting the advantages and disadvantages of the technologies used to monitor medication adherence. CR - Areas Lisboa Netto, T., Diniz, B.
