AB  - Aim:To determine the effect of loss of spouse and child on sleep patterns and quality in geriatrics and to make different approaches to the medical problems of geriatrics by comparing with demographic factors.Materials and Methods:The study included 1725 people over 65 years of age. Data were collected using a questionnaire including demographic information, Stanford and Epworth Sleepiness Scales and analyzed with Mann-Whitney U test. Kruskal Wallis analysis was used for continuous variables and Post Hoc Bonferroni analysis was performed to find out between which groups the difference was.
