Furthermore, it seeks to elucidate the interrelationship between information security awareness levels and cyberbullying tendencies. In the study, phenomenological design, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was employed. In order to obtain qualitative data, a total of 27 lecturers were invited to participate in the study, representing the faculties of education of three different universities. The data were obtained through the utilisation of the Interview Form on Cyberbullying and Information Security. The MAXQDA Pro 2020 (20.4.0) program was employed for the analysis of qualitative data, with both descriptive and content analysis techniques being utilised concurrently. The findings revealed that the instructors identified two key themes within the overarching theme of the cyber environment: cyberbullying and cyber information security. The codes pertaining to the theme of cyberbullying encompass exposure to cyberbullying, cyberbully behaviours, victimisation, perpetration of bullying, solution suggestions, protection methods, awareness, and the status of perception. In contrast, the codes associated with the theme of cyber information security include protection methods, awareness, and identity theft.}, number={2}, publisher={İnönü Üniversitesi}
