The present study aims to identify the problems experienced by child development specialists with bachelor’s degrees working in special education and rehabilitation centers and to propose viable solutions to these problems. In line with this objective, interviews were conducted with 25 female participants from Karaman, Konya, and Ankara. Through these interviews, the specific issues faced by specialists were identified, and corresponding solution suggestions were offered. Method: The study was conducted with a case study within the scope of qualitative research. The participants of the study consisted of 25 child development specialists with bachelor’s degrees working in special education and rehabilitation centers in Karaman, Konya and Ankara. Demographic information form and interview form were used as data collection tools in the study. Data were obtained through interviews and analyzed with content analysis. Findings: The findings of the study indicated that participants face various problems in special education and rehabilitation centers, particularly concerning institution, family, salary, education and professional competence, and that participants proposed a range of suggestions aimed at addressing issues such as insufficient materials, working conditions, salary and education. Discussion: In this context, the problems faced by the participants were determined, and both the participants’ proposed solutions and the researchers’ suggestions were discussed within the framework of the literature. Conclusion and Suggestions: The findings of the study revealed that child development specialists with bachelor’s degrees working in special education and rehabilitation centers face problems related to institution, family, salary, education and professional competence. It was also found that participants had suggestions for addressing these problems and expressed a desire to receive further training in relevant areas. Based on the findings, various suggestions were proposed within the scope of the study.}, publisher={Ankara Üniversitesi}
