KW - Öğrenme kaybı KW - İlkokul öğrencilerinin yaz tatili öğrenme kaybı KW - İlkokul öğrencilerinin yaz tatili okuma öğrenme kaybı N2 - In order to increase students learning levels and successfully implement targeted behavioral changes, it is necessary to identify variables that negatively affect success. Learning loss that occurs during the holiday period when students are away from school is one of the variables that negatively affect success. The aim of this research is to evaluate interior and international scientific studies on primary school students' summer vacation reading area learning loss between 2000-2023. The systematic review method was used in the research. The data of the research consist of research obtained from ERIC, TR Index, DergiPark and Google Academic databases with the keywords "learning loss", "summer vacation learning loss", "primary school summer vacation learning loss", "primary school summer vacation reading learning loss" and the English equivalents of these words. PRISMA flow chart was used to obtain the data of the research, and 12 abroad and 3 interior articles were included in the study according to certain inclusion and exclusion criteria. As a result of the study, it was concluded that primary school students had reading learning losses during the summer vacation and that these losses could vary according to the economic situation of the students' families.
