Incident reporting is an important tool in supporting patient care and ensuring patient safety. This cross-sectional study was conducted to determine the current status of incident reporting in hospitals and to examine the relationship between incident reporting (OR) and patient safety culture (PSC). Study sample included 2,055 physicians and nurses working in 9 hospitals with different status in Istanbul. The data were collected using a personal information form and the Patient Safety Culture Scale. In addition, the participants were asked whether they had reported any incidents related to patient safety in the last year. It was observed that 33.5% of the study group reported at least one incident in the last year, and the distribution of the number of reported incidents differed between accredited and non-accredited hospitals (p CR - AbuAlRub, R.
