Founded by the Bektashi sheik Sersem Ali Dede in the 16th century, the lodge emerged as an important symbol of the Ottoman Empire’s influence in the Balkans. Beyond a religious center, it has become a center of social solidarity, cooperation, and cultural communications. The article examines in detail the historical background of Harabati Baba Lodge, whether it knows religion and social life. In addition to institutionalizing religious education during the Ottoman period, the socio-cultural structure of the region also increased and became the focus of cultural exchange and solidarity. The study considers the lodge’s spatial and functional changes over time and evaluates the physical existence and social roles shared by these transformations.
