It also presents examples of diplomatic reports that sought to destabilize that relationship. We will also try to examine the extent of the impact of those reports on Algeria’s relations with the Ottoman authority. For this reason, we followed in this study the narrative and descriptive approach when discussing and describing the nature of Ottoman-Algerian relations. We also followed the analytical approach to analyze the general content of the historical material included in the selected models of those reports, as well as in determining the repercussions of that on Algerian-Ottoman relations. Our study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which are the following: - The efforts of European countries, led by France and Britain, to destabilize relations between the Ottoman Empire and its province, Algeria. (Cezayir) - France’s tireless efforts to control Algeria and exploit its wealth in various ways. - The problems and circumstances that the Ottoman Empire suffered from in the nineteenth century greatly affected the Ottoman Empire’s position towards the European conspiracy against Algeria. - France used the (mirwaha) incident as a pretext to launch its campaign against Algeria, claiming that it aimed only to discipline Dey Hussein. - Despite the Sublime Porte’s efforts to find a diplomatic solution and prevent France from occupying its most important provinces in North Africa, it failed to do so, and France was able to find a settlement with Britain that ultimately led to launching its campaign against Algeria and thus occupying it in 1830. Thus, the Ottoman rule of Algeria ended.}, number={2}, publisher={Kırıkkale Üniversitesi}
