This study aims to conduct a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of job sharing, job rotation, and platform-based work models and examine their impact on national economies and their relationship with studies on information systems. The bibliometric analysis revealed that these studies primarily focus on job satisfaction, ergonomics, and human health concepts. The countries with the highest number of studies and citations were the United States, Germany, and Sweden. Correlation analyses demonstrated a moderate positive relationship between the number of academic publications on these models and the export volumes of countries (r = 0.569) and a strong relationship with studies on information systems (r = 0.747). This study contributes significantly to the literature by uncovering next-generation work models' multidimensional academic and economic impacts. CR - Akpınar, Ö.
