AB  - Bu araştırma, 6 Şubat 2023 tarihinde meydana gelen Kahramanmaraş merkezli depremler sonrasında ergen ve yetişkin bireylerin travma düzeylerini sosyodemografik değişkenler açısından incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma betimsel araştırma modeli ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma, Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman ve Hatay illerinde yaşayan toplam 793 katılımcıdan (394 ergen, 399 yetişkin) elde edilen verilerle yürütülmüştür. Veriler, Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Deprem Sonrası Travma Düzeyini Belirleme Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Analizlerde normal dağılıma uygunluk çarpıklık ve basıklık değerleriyle değerlendirilmiş; ikili karşılaştırmalarda bağımsız örneklem t-testi, üç ve üzeri gruplarda tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) uygulanmıştır. Araştırma bulguları, travma düzeylerinin yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim durumu ve meslek demografik değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılıklar gösterdiğini ortaya koymuştur. Deprem Sonrası Travma Düzeyini Belirleme Ölçeğinin toplam puanı yaşa göre anlamlı farklılık göstermese de, alt boyutlarda farklılıklar gözlenmiştir. Kadınların erkeklere kıyasla daha yüksek travma puanlarına sahip olduğu bulunmuştur. Eğitim düzeyi açısından, lise ve altı mezuniyete sahip bireylerin, üniversite mezunlarına göre daha yüksek travma düzeylerine sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Mesleki statüye göre ise, ev hanımı ve işçi grubundaki bireylerin travma düzeylerinin, memurlara göre daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, deprem sonrası psikososyal müdahale süreçlerinde bireylerin demografik özelliklerinin dikkate alınması gerektiğine işaret etmektedir. Araştırma, topluma yönelik destek mekanizmalarının geliştirilmesi ve travmaya müdahale programlarının risk altındaki gruplara göre yapılandırılmasının önemini vurgulamaktadır.

N2  - This study aims to examine the trauma levels of adolescents and adults in terms of sociodemographic variables following the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023. The research was conducted using a descriptive research model. The study was carried out with data collected from a total of 793 participants (394 adolescents and 399 adults) living in the provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, and Hatay. Data were collected using a Personal Information Form and the Post-Earthquake Trauma Level Assessment Scale. The normality of the data was assessed using skewness and kurtosis values. For the analyses, independent samples t-test was applied for binary comparisons between two groups, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used for comparisons involving three or more groups. The findings revealed that trauma levels significantly differed according to age, gender, educational background, and occupation. Although the total score of the Post-Earthquake Trauma Level Assessment Scale did not show a significant difference by age, variations were observed in its sub-scale scores. It was found that females had higher trauma scores compared to males. In terms of educational level, individuals with a high school diploma or lower had higher trauma levels compared to university graduates. Regarding occupational status, housewives and workers experienced higher trauma levels than civil servants. The findings suggest that individuals' demographic characteristics should be taken into consideration in post-earthquake psychosocial intervention. The study highlights the need for tailored support mechanisms and trauma response programs targeted at high-risk groups.
