This study aims to evaluate the current status, practices and the legal aspects of T&CM education in Türkiye. In this descriptive study, data were collected from official websites of T&CM education institutions, relevant legislation published in the Official Gazettes of the Republic of Türkiye and documents from the Ministry of Health’s T&CM Practices Department using a document review method. Established in 2012, the T&CM Practices Department oversees the legal framework that began with the ’Acupuncture Treatment Regulation’ in 1991 and has continued with subsequent regulations. The legal basis for T&CM applications includes Decree Law No. 663 and regulations published in the Official Gazettes on 04.02.2014 and numbered 28903 and the "Traditional and Complementary Medicine Practices Regulation" published in the Official Gazette dated 27.10.2014 and numbered 29158. Education programs are conducted under the Ministry of Health Approved Practices Regulation, with various universities, such as the Health Sciences University, offering master’s and doctoral programs.
