N2 - This study aims to examine the bibliometric analysis of articles on algebraic thinking in mathematics education. For this purpose, performance analysis and scientific mapping were performed on the articles published in the Web of Science (WoS) database until September 29, 2024. Within the scope of the research, the distribution of studies on the concept of algebraic thinking over the years was examined and citation rankings were determined on the basis of authors, journals, institutions and countries. In addition, the collaboration between institutions, the co-citation network between authors and the network of common words used in articles were also analyzed. The study was conducted within a quantitative research paradigm using bibliometric analysis methods. Data were obtained from the WoS database with specific research terms and 292 articles were included in the analysis. CR - Akkan, Y. (2016). Cebirsel düşünme. E. Bingölbali, S. Arslan & İ., Ö.
