AB  - Amaç: Histerektomi kadını fiziksel, psikolojik ve sosyo-kültürel yönden etkileyen cerrahi bir girişimdir. Roy Adaptasyon Modeli, kadının histerektomi cerrahisine hızlı ve kolay adaptasyonunu sağlayıp iyileşme sürecini hızlandırarak komplikasyon gelişme riskini azaltacaktır. Bu çalışmada Roy Adaptasyon Modeline göre histerektomi cerrahisi geçirmiş hastanın hemşirelik bakımının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır.Yöntem: Veriler hastadan yazılı onam alındıktan sonra olguya göre düzenlenen “Jinekolojik Veri Toplama Formu” kullanılarak yüz yüze görüşme yöntemiyle elde edilmiştir. Toplanan veriler; Kuzey Amerika Hemşirelik Tanıları Sınıflaması [North American Nursing Diagnosis Association-International (NANDA-I)] kullanılarak, bireye özgü Hemşirelik Girişimleri Sınıflaması [Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC)] ve Hemşirelik Çıktıları Sınıflaması [Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC)] sistemleri doğrultusunda sistematize edilmiştir.Bulgular: Ağrı, vajende kötü koku ve menometroraji nedeniyle hastaneye başvuran olguya, endometriyum kanseri tanısı konulduktan sonra histerektomi cerrahisi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda olgu Roy Adaptasyon Modeli’nin alanlarına göre belirlenen hemşirelik tanıları ile modelin ilgili alanlarına entegre edilmiştir.Sonuç: Modelin histerektomi cerrahisinde uygun bir rehber olacağı ve hemşirelikte hizmet içi eğitimlerin içeriğine dahil edilmesi, farklı konularda, daha geniş popülasyonlarla, daha kesin kanıtlar sağlayan prospektif çalışmalarda modelin kullanımının yaygınlaştırılması önerilebilir.

N2  - Objective: Hysterectomy is a surgical procedure that affects women physically, psychologically, and socio-culturally. The Roy Adaptation Model will facilitate the woman's rapid and easy adaptation to hysterectomy surgery, accelerate the recovery process, and reduce the risk of complications. This study aims to evaluate nursing care for patients who have undergone hysterectomy surgery according to Roy's Adaptation Model.Method: Data were obtained through face-to-face interviews using the “Gynecological Data Collection Form” tailored to each case after obtaining written consent from the patient. The collected data were analyzed using the North American Nursing Diagnosis Classification [North American Nursing Diagnosis Association-International (NANDA-I)], the individual-specific Nursing Interventions Classification [Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC)] and Nursing Outcomes Classification [Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC)] systems.Results: The patient, who was admitted to the hospital due to pain, foul odor in the vagina, and menometrorrhagia, underwent hysterectomy surgery after being diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Based on the data obtained, the nursing diagnoses determined according to the areas of Roy's Adaptation Model were integrated into the relevant areas of the model.Conclusion: It can be suggested that the model would be an appropriate guide in hysterectomy surgery and that it should be included in the content of in-service training in nursing. Furthermore, the use of the model should be promoted in prospective studies with different topics, broader populations, and more definitive evidence.
