AB  - Hüseyin Serbes:Stuart Hall argues that “no archive arises out of thin air” (2001, p. 89) and sees the archive as a creativeentity in an unending state of becoming. For some time now, I have been researching in the London Collegeof Communication’s special archive at Elephant and Castle, a collection that constantly encourages new workin a dialogical relationship. In the library and private archive, the first part that caught my eye and excitedme in the ‘living archive’ as theorised by Hall was ‘subcultures’. How would you define subcultures?
