This change affected jevelry design, as well as the philosophy of art, through new expansions and a redefined relationship between the Bauhaus doctrine and art-craft. Marcel Duchamp’s art production with ready-made objects at the start of the 20th century was regarded as the origin of conceptual art. The belief that the idea is more important than the material in art production introduced a new approach to art and transformed jevelry design both formally and intellectually. In the context of interdisciplinary relationships, the 1960s saw the emergence of a new production practice in jevelry design, which led to a second breaking point. At this point; art, fashion, museum space, and fashion museology coexisted in coordination. Beginning in the 1960s, fashion, and jewellery designs were put on display in museums using conceptual and thematic curatorial techniques that went beyond their material values and chronological time indexes. Today, jewellery-jevelry design has evolved to experimental forms using various materials, both precious and non-precious. With installations as a component of modern art, the digital age, and digital art, jewellery, and jevelry exhibitions are also displayed. The fact that contemporary jewellery and jevelry designs are displayed in current museum exhibitions alongside conceptual contents and installations with art interaction is taken into account in the study’s consideration of the interdisciplinary unity of jewellery and jevelry designs with contemporary art and conceptual art.}, number={19}, publisher={Sibel KILIÇ}
