Here we will classify the varieties according to their production methods. These are generally divided into two: 1. Synthetic varieties, 2. Hybrid varieties. Although production methods have nothing to do with seed structure, synthetic varieties are generally multigerm and hybrid varieties are genetic monogerm. In Turkey, around 98% genetic monogerm, 2% technical monogerm and a very small amount of multigerm seeds are planted. Biz burada çeşitleri üretim şekillerine göre sınıflandıracağız. Bunlar genel olarak ikiye ayrılırlar: 1. Sentetik çeşitler, 2. Hibrid çeşitler. Üretim metodlarının tohum yapısıyla bir ilgisi olmamakla birlikte genellikle, sentetik çeşitler multigerm, hibrid çeşitler ise genetik monogermdir.
