The study argues that these policies provide a space for individuals to develop their self-identities and that supportive approaches should be developed to ensure that parent and worker identities are maintained in harmony. The article evaluates family-friendly employment policies implemented in developed countries and discusses current family-friendly policies in Türkiye. It also discusses how a policy approach that is flexible enough to respond to the changing identities of mothers and fathers in Türkiye and to meet various needs can be promoted.
