Küreselleşme, teknolojik dönüşüm, bölgesel entegrasyon projeleri ve dijitalleşme süreçleri, lojistiği stratejik bir unsur hâline getirerek ülkeler açısından önemli bir rekabet avantajına dönüştürmüştür. Bu kapsamda çalışmada betimsel analiz yöntemi benimsenmiş, Dünya Bankası tarafından yayımlanan Lojistik Performans Endeksi (LPI) verilerinden yararlanılmıştır. Almanya, İsveç, Belçika, Türkiye, İran, Afganistan ve Angola gibi farklı gelişmişlik düzeyleri ve coğrafi konumlara sahip 15 ülkenin 2016, 2018 ve 2022 yıllarına ait LPI puanları ve sıralamaları karşılaştırmalı olarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular, gelişmiş ülkelerin lojistik performanslarını yüksek seviyelerde sürdürdüklerini, Türkiye’nin ise son dönemde puan ve sıralama açısından kısmi bir iyileşme kaydettiğini göstermektedir. LPI alt bileşenleri, ülkelerin lojistik performanslarının güçlü ve zayıf yönlerini ortaya koymakta ve bu yönüyle stratejik önceliklerin belirlenmesine katkı sunmaktadır. Çalışma, İpek Yolu’nun yeniden canlandırılması bağlamında lojistik performansın dış ticaretteki rolüne dikkat çekmekte, lojistik ve ticaretin karşılıklı olarak birbirini etkileyen iki stratejik unsur olduğu ve küresel ticaret yollarının yeniden şekillenmesinde önemli rol oynadığı yönünde bir değerlendirme sunmaktadır. Globalization, technological transformation, regional integration projects, and digitalization processes have transformed logistics into a strategic element, offering a significant competitive advantage for countries. In this context, the study adopts a descriptive analysis method and utilizes data from the Logistics Performance Index (LPI) published by the World Bank. A comparative analysis was conducted using the LPI scores and rankings for the years 2016, 2018, and 2022 of 15 countries with diverse levels of development and geographical locations, including Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Türkiye, Iran, Afghanistan, and Angola. The findings indicate that developed countries have maintained high levels of logistics performance, while Türkiye has shown partial improvement in both score and ranking in recent years. The LPI sub-components reveal the strengths and weaknesses of countries' logistics systems and contribute to the identification of strategic priorities. The study highlights the role of logistics performance in foreign trade within the scope of reviving the Silk Road and presents an assessment that logistics and trade are two interdependent strategic components playing a crucial role in reshaping global trade routes.
