AB  - ÖZBu çalışma, viyolonsel literatürünün önemli eserlerinden, Franz Peter Schubert’in hibrit bir enstrüman olan arpeggione enstrümanı için yazdığı D. 821, la minör Arpeggione sonatını form ve viyolonsel tekniği bakımından inceleyerek, icracılara teknik ve müzikal açıdan eserin çalımını kolaylaştırıcı önerilerde bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Eserin icrası tarafımızca viyolonselde yapıldığından bu öneriler de eseri viyolonselde icra edecek müzisyenler için referans alınabilir. Schubert’in arpeggione’sinde de olduğu gibi virtüözite seviyesindeki eserlerde, eserin ilk okuma aşamasından itibaren özellikle de teknik yetkinliğin daha ön plana çıktığı pasajları doğru çalışmak eserin sadece eserin performansı icracının performansının artmasına değil aynı zamanda çalıcının performans kaygısını yönetmesine de yardım edecektir.Arpeggione, kendisiyle aynı ada sahip arpeggione enstrümanı (Johann Georg Stauffer, 1810) için yazılmış (Allegro moderato, Adagio, Allegretto) üç bölümlük bir eserdir. Arpeggione esntrümanının kısa ömürlü olması sebebiyle eser hakkında literatürde ulaşılan bilgiler oldukça sınırlıdır. Bu eser hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak isteyenler teknik ve müzikal öneriler için bu kaynaktan faydalanabilir, kendi özgün fikirlerini bu öneriler üzerine kurgulayabilirler. Konu hakkında yapılan literatür taraması, gözlem ve kişisel çalışmalar sonucunda ulaşılan sonuçlar edilen veriler hem icracı hem eğitmen gözüyle ele alınmıştır. Sonuçta, doğru çalışma yaklaşımıyla eser çalışıldığında genel kanıda zor olarak değerlendirilen pasajların rahatlıkla çalınabilir hale geldiği tespit edilmiştir.

N2  - ABSTRACTThis study examines Franz Peter Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata in A minor, D. 821, a significant work in the cello repertoire, with regard to its form and cello technique. Based on this analysis, the study aims to provide technical and musical recommendations that will facilitate the performance of the piece for performers. As the performance of the work was conducted on the cello, the suggestions offered here are intended as a reference for cellists who wish to perform this piece.As in Schubert's original work for the arpeggione, which is a hybrid instrument, in virtuosic compositions such as this, focusing on correctly practicing technically demanding passages from the first reading stage onwards is essential. This not only enhances the performer’s overall performance but also helps manage performance anxiety by increasing confidence in handling challenging sections.The Arpeggione Sonata was composed for the arpeggione, a hybrid instrument developed by Johann Georg Stauffer in 1810. The work consists of three movements: Allegro moderato, Adagio, and Allegretto. Due to the short-lived nature of the arpeggione, there is limited information in the literature regarding the piece, making it difficult to gain a comprehensive understanding of its historical and technical context.For those seeking more information on the work, the technical and musical suggestions provided in this study may serve as a valuable resource. Performers can use these insights as a basis for developing their own interpretations of the piece. The results of the literature review, observations, and personal studies are analyzed from both a performer’s and an educator’s perspective. The findings suggest that, with the right approach to practice, passages often considered challenging in this piece can be played comfortably, offering a more accessible and rewarding performance experience.
