The fact that the effects of most current chemical drugs used in treating these diseases are not at the desired level has led researchers to search for new treatment methods. Plant-derived exosome-like nanovesicles (PELNs), which have recently become the focus of researchers, have advantages such as high biocompatibility, easy passage through the blood-brain barrier, and low immunogenicity, unlike mammalian-derived exosomes. Numerous investigations have been performed on various diseases to study the effectiveness of PELNs. One of these areas is brain-related diseases. First, this review aims to provide a general overview of PELNs and address their isolation and characterization techniques. Then, we to discuss the mechanisms of action of PELNs in brain disease models created in vivo and in vitro. Finally, we provide information on the difficulties associated with the use of PELNs in general and how they will be positioned in the future regarding brain diseases.}, number={2}, publisher={FABAD Ankara Eczacılık Bilimleri Derneği}
