AB  - Adını baskıyla duyurmuş olan Doğu Almanya (Almanya Demokratik Cumhuriyeti, Deutsche Demokratische Republik), güvenlik politikaları kapsamında başvurulan yöntemler açısından nitelikli araştırma konuları sunmaktadır. Bunlardan biri de istihbarat aygıtı olarak Stasi’nin (Staatssicherheit) uygulamalarıdır. Stasi, çağdaş hukuk normlarıyla bağdaşmayan yöntemleriyle kurmaca yapıtlara da konu olmaktadır. Başkalarının Hayatı (Das Leben der Anderen) filmi Stasi’nin hukuk dışı takibini konu alan, 2006 yılı, Alman yapımı bir filmdir. Filmde yer verilen edebiyatçı figür Georg Dreyman, Stasi’nin takibine takılır. En özel alanına kadar sızan Stasi, Dreyman’ın hayatını adeta control etmektedir. Bu çalışma, Başkalarının Hayatı örneğinde istihbarat aygıtının edebiyatçı takibini ele almakta ve Doğu Alman idaresinin başvurduğu yöntemleri sorgulamaktadır. Bu kapsamda, çalışma salt araştırma nesnesi (metin) odaklı ilerlemekte ancak, gerekli durumlarda tarihsel eleştiri bağlamında somut gerçeklere yönelmektedir. Çalışmanın amacı, literatürde daha önce bu açıdan ele alınmamış bir örnek üzerinden güç otoritesi ile edebiyatçı arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır.

N2  - East Germany (German Democratic Republic, Deutsche Demokratische Republik), which made its name known through oppression, offers qualified research topics in terms of the methods used within the scope of security policies. One of these is the practices of the Stasi (Staatssicherheit) as an intelligence apparatus. The Stasi is also the subject of fictional works with its methods that are incompatible with contemporary legal norms. The Lives of Others (Das Leben der Anderen) is a 2006 German-made film about the Stasi's unlawful surveillance. The literary figure featured in the film, Georg Dreyman, is caught up in the Stasi's surveillance. The Stasi, which has infiltrated his most private areas, virtually controls Dreyman's life. This study examines the intelligence apparatus's surveillance of literary figures through the example of The Lives of Others and questions the methods used by the East German administration. In this context, the study focuses solely on the research object (text), but when necessary, it turns to concrete facts in the context of historical criticism. The aim of the study is to reveal the relationship between the power authority and the literary figure through an example that has not been addressed in this respect before in the literature.
