AB  - Bu çalışma, Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi’nde turizm eğitimi alan öğrencilerin dijital yeterlilik düzeylerini belirlemeyi ve bu yeterliliklerin cinsiyet, yaş ve eğitim düzeyi gibi demografik değişkenlerle ilişkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılında 540 öğrenciyle çevrim içi anket uygulanmıştır. Bulgulara göre, öğrencilerin çoğu orta düzeyde dijital yeterliliğe sahiptir. Cinsiyetin dijital yeterlilik üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi bulunmazken; yaş ve eğitim düzeyi faktörleri anlamlı farklılık göstermektedir. Genç ve yüksek lisans/doktora düzeyindeki öğrenciler daha yüksek dijital yeterliliğe sahiptir. Bu bulgular doğrultusunda, turizm eğitiminde dijital becerilerin geliştirilmesi için müfredat güncellemeleri, uygulamalı eğitimler ve sektörle iş birliklerinin önemi vurgulanmaktadır.

N2  - This study aims to assess the digital competency levels of tourism students at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University and explore their relationship with demographic variables such as gender, age, and education level. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 540 students via an online survey. The findings show that most students possess a moderate level of digital competency. While no significant differences were found between genders, younger students and those with higher education levels demonstrated greater digital proficiency. The study recommends curriculum updates, practical digital training, and increased academia-industry collaboration to better equip students for the evolving digital demands of the tourism sector.
