Kendi kendine liderlik, bireylerin kendi düşünce, duygu ve davranışlarını bilinçli olarak yönlendirdiği, içsel motivasyonlarını artırarak performanslarını geliştirdiği bir süreç olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Çalışmada, Google Akademik veri tabanında yapılan taramalar sonucunda 390 makale incelenmiş ve analiz için 46 makale seçilmiştir. Sonuçlar, Türkiye’de kendi kendine liderlik konusundaki çalışmaların genellikle bireysel ve örgütsel performans, iletişim, inovasyon ve öz yeterlilik gibi değişkenlerle ilişkilendirildiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bununla birlikte, konuya dair çalışmaların büyük ölçüde eğitim sektörü ve akademik bağlamla sınırlı olduğu dikkat çekerken hizmet sektörüne dair araştırmaların yetersiz kaldığı görülmüştür. Kendi kendine liderliğin sektörel bağlamda özellikle emek yoğun hizmet sektörlerinde çalışan motivasyonu, iş tatmini ve müşteri memnuniyeti üzerindeki etkilerinin daha fazla incelenmesinin önemli teorik ve pratik katkılar sunacağı düşünülmektedir. Self-leadership is defined as a process in which individuals consciously direct their own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, enhancing their intrinsic motivation and improving their performance. In this study, a total of 390 articles were identified through searches in the Google Scholar database, and 46 articles were selected for analysis. The results indicate that studies on self-leadership in Turkey are generally associated with variables such as individual and organizational performance, communication, innovation, and self-efficacy. However, it was observed that most studies on the topic are limited to the education sector and academic contexts, while research on the service sector remains insufficient. It is suggested that further studies investigate the impact of self-leadership in sectoral contexts, particularly in labor-intensive service industries, concerning employee motivation, job satisfaction, and customer satisfaction.
