AB  - Bu çalışmanın amacı, Atatürk dönemi tarih anlayışı ve tarih öğretimini incelemektir. Bu çerçevede, Atatürk’ün; tarihe karşı ilgisi, Türk tarihinin araştırılmasını istemesinin sebepleri, Atatürk dönemi kurulan Türk tarihi ile ilgili kuruluşlar, I. ve II. Türk Tarih Kongreleri, Atatürk dönemi tarih dersi müfredat programları ele alınmıştır. Atatürk döneminde tarih öğretimine gerekli önem verilmiş ve değerli çalışmalar yapılmıştır.

N2  - The aim of this study is to examine and study understanding to history and teaching history during the period of time Atatürk. In this respect, the researcher has examined this topic under the five subtopics which are the main causes of Atatürk’s efforts to have Turkish history searched deeply, the institutions established during the Atatürk Time Period, 1st and  2nd Turkish History Assemblies and finally history curriculum of Turkish Education System during Atatürk’s  Period. A large amount of researches and studies were organized and planned impresively and productively in the Period of Atatürk and the all the required importance was given to the teaching history intensively.
