It is characterised by a yellow to greenish-yellow pileus with tiny scales in the center, yellowish lamellae, and is associated with Fagaceae. Based on phylogenetic analysis of the nuclear internal transcribed spacer (nrITS) sequences, the Turkish collection is placed in a well-supported clade along with its European representatives within the / Calochroi clade. Our results demonstrate the first distribution of this taxon outside the European continent and new to Türkiye.}, number={5}, publisher={Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam Üniversitesi}
