The students divided into two groups, a gratitude group and a control group, using a randomized control experiment. Then, the gratitude levels, well-being (life satisfaction and positive affect) and academic self-efficacy of the groups after the intervention/control were measured. The analyses that the one-time intervention had a significant effect on gratitude and positive affect in the context of well-being, but not on life satisfaction and academic self-efficacy. The findings highlight the potential of gratitude intervention programs in the fields of positive psychology and positive organizational behavior and suggest the need for further research with different sample groups.
