Gereç ve Yöntem: Kesitsel araştırma tasarımına sahip bu çalışmanın evrenini Nisan 2021 – Temmuz 2022 tarihleri arasında Ege Üniversitesi Hemşirelik fakültesinde eğitimine devam eden tüm öğrenciler (n=1142) oluşturdu. Evrenin tamamına ulaşılmış olup, çalışmaya katılmayı gönüllü olarak kabul eden (n=553) öğrenciler araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturdu. Bu nedenle, gönüllülük esasına dayalı örnekleme yöntemi kullanıldı. Kafein tüketim düzeyleri tespiti için “Kafein Tüketim Alışkanlıkları Formu”, nikotin bağımlılığının tespiti için “Fagestrom Tölerans Testi”, uyku kalitesini etkileyen faktörlerin incelenmesi için “Pittsburgh Uyku Kalite İndeksi” kullanıldı. İncelemeler spearman korelasyon, doğrusal regresyon, bağımsız örneklem t testi, tek yönlü varyans analizleri ile yapıldı. Bulgular: Sigara kullanan katılımcıların uyku kalitesinin sigara kullanmayan katılımcılara göre daha yüksektir (p KW - Öğrenci KW - hemşirelik KW - kafein KW - uyku kalitesi KW - sigara içmek N2 - Objective: To examine the effects of differences in caffeine consumption and nicotine addiction levels on the sleep quality of nursing students according to sociodemographic characteristics. Material and Methods: The population of this cross-sectional study was all students (n=1142) who continued their education at Ege University Faculty of Nursing between April 2021 and July 2022. The entire populationwas reached, and the students who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study (n=553) constituted the study sample. Therefore, a voluntary sampling method was used. The "Caffeine Consumption Habits Form" was used to determine caffeine consumption levels, ‘along with’ the "Fagestrom Tolerance Test" by means of assess nicotine addiction, and the "Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index" through examine the factors affecting sleep quality. The examinations were conducted using Spearman correlation, linear regression, independent samples t-test, and one-way variance analysis. Results: It was determined that the sleep quality of the smokers was higher than that of the non-smokers (p CR - Öğütlü B, Karaaziz M. Uyku ve uyku bozuklukları ile ilgili bir gözden geçirme.
