A descriptive relational survey model was employed in the study. The population consisted of university students, and the sample comprised 438 students selected through random sampling. As data collection instruments, a personal information form to gather socio-demographic data, the Social Media Addiction Scale developed by Günüç (2009) and validated by Çömlekçi and Başol (2019), the Leisure Time Management Scale developed by Wang et al. (2011) and adapted to Turkish by Akgül and Karaküçük (2015), and the Psychological Well-Being Scale developed by Diener et al. (2009) and adapted to Turkish by Telef (2011) were used. In the study, differences in the total scale scores based on gender were determined using the Student t-test, while differences based on class, faculty, and income level were examined using One-Way Analysis of Variance and Tukey's multiple comparison test. The relationships among the scales were analyzed with Pearson's correlation coefficient, and the regression analysis was employed to model the relationship. The results indicate that social media addiction and leisure time management are significant factors that directly affect individuals' psychological well-being. It was determined that social media addiction may negatively impact psychological well-being, whereas effective leisure time management can have a positive contribution. Therefore, awareness campaigns to balance social media use and intervention programs to enhance leisure time management skills can be effectively used to improve psychological well-being.
