AB  - Bu araştırma, Hakkari ilinde buzağı, dana ve sığırlarda Cryptosporidium sp.’nin yaygınlığını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaç için 3-12 aylık toplam 123 adet buzağı ve dana ile 12-36 aylık 17 adet sığırın rektumlarından dışkı örnekleri alınmıştır. Bu dışkı örnekleri, Modifiye Ziehl-Neelsen tekniği ile boyandıktan sonra mikroskopta Cryptosporidium sp. oookistleri yönünden incelenmiştir. Dışkı örneklerinin laboratauar incelenmesinde, 140 dışkı örneğinin 31 (%22.14)’inde Cryptosporidium sp. ookisti saptanmıştır. Araştırmada, Cryptosporidium sp. ookisti en fazla 3-6 aylık buzağılarda (%31.70), en az ise 12-36 aylık sığırlarda (%11.76) saptanmıştır
