AB  - Bu çalışma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin ilaç güvenliği yeterliliklerini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel tasarıma sahip araştırma, bir devlet üniversitesinde öğrenim gören, 160 hemşirelik öğrencisi ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler, Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu ve Hemşireler için İlaç Güvenliği Yeterliliği Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Veri analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistiklerin yanı sıra, iki grup arasındaki farklar için bağımsız örneklemler t testi kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin İlaç Güvenliği Yeterlilik ölçeği puan ortalamalarının 135,47±15,81 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların cinsiyet ve doğru ilaç ilkelerine uyma durumu ilaç güvenliği yeterliliğiyle pozitif, daha önce ilaç hatası yapma durumu ile ise negatif yönde anlamlı ilişki göstermiştir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmada hemşirelik öğrencilerinin çoğunluğunun doğru ilkelere uyduğunu bildirdiği ve hemşirelik öğrencilerinin ilaç güvenliği yeterliliğinin tatmin edici düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir.

N2  - This study was conducted to determine the drug safety competencies of nursing students. The descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with 160 nursing students studying at a state university. Data were collected using the Descriptive Information Form and the Medication Safety Competency Scale for Nurses and analyzed with SPSS. Descriptive statistics and t-test for independent samples were used to analyze the data. As a result of the study, it was determined that the average score of nursing students on the Medication Safety Competency Scale was 135.47±15.81. Participants' gender and adherence to right principles showed a positive significant relationship with medication safety competence, whereas previous medication error experience showed a negative significant relationship. In conclusion, it was found that most nursing students reported adhering to right principles, and that their medication safety competence was satisfactory.
