KW - Sosyal hizmet KW - aile KW - lisansüstü tezler KW - bibliyometrik analiz N2 - This study aims to analyze the state of academic production on family-related topics within the field of social work in Türkiye. The research examines 137 postgraduate theses on family themes in the social work discipline, accessible in the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education (YÖKTEZ) database as of March 2025, using content analysis, a qualitative research method. The findings indicate that graduate theses on family-related social work topics have predominantly been conducted by female researchers. While an increase in the number of theses has been observed over the years, master's theses outnumber doctoral dissertations. The most frequently studied topics include child and family welfare and disability, while issues such as migration, poverty, and domestic violence receive comparatively less attention. Quantitative studies are dominant in terms of research methods, though qualitative and mixed-method approaches have become more prevalent at the doctoral level. All theses are written in Turkish and are concentrated in certain universities. In conclusion, while family-related academic studies in social work are increasing, research gaps remain at the doctoral level and in specific topics. Therefore, supporting doctoral programs in social work, enhancing methodological diversity, and encouraging international academic engagement are recommended. CR - Akyüz, M. ve Altun, F. (2022).
