AB  - Bu makale, literatürde bilimsel geçerliliği henüz kanıtlanmamış olan Aile Dizimi Yönteminin, Türk yapımı Zeytin Ağacı dizisinde anlatıya nasıl entegre edildiğini ele almaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, hâlihazırda literatürde tartışmalı bir konu olan Aile Dizimi Yönteminin, dizi aracılığıyla nasıl görselleştirildiğini, bu yöntemin karakterler üzerindeki etkilerini ve yönteme ilişkin seyirciye sunulan bakış açısını analiz etmektir. Analizde, aile içinde bilinç dışı aktarılan travmaların bireyler arasındaki iletişime nasıl yansıdığı, travmaların bireylerin davranışlarını nasıl şekillendirdiği ve çözüme kavuşturma biçimleri göz önünde bulundurulmaktadır. Bu nedenle çalışma, Aile Dizimi Yönteminin travmaların çözüm sürecinde nasıl bir rol oynadığı ve dizinin bu yöntemi popüler kültüre nasıl tanıttığını göstermesi açısından önem taşımaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemi benimsenmiş ve tipik durum örneklemesi kullanılmıştır. Dizinin birinci sezonundaki sekiz bölüm, Aile Dizimi Yönteminin anlatıya nasıl dâhil edildiğini anlamlandırmak için tematik analiz yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda belirlenen ana temalar: Kuşaklar arası travma, iletişimde kopukluk ve yeniden bağlanma ile ruhsal şifalanmadır. Aile Dizimi, diziye yöntemin iyileştirici potansiyeline dair görüşlerle örtüşen, olumlu bir yapıda entegre edilmiştir. Ancak yöntemin bilimsel açıdan tartışmalı oluşu, dizinin eleştirel mesafeden yoksun sunumu nedeniyle göz ardı edilmiştir. Bu hâliyle dizinin, terapötik süreçteki riskleri yansıtmaktan çok, yöntemi yücelten bir anlatım benimsediği görülmektedir. Netflix üzerinden geniş kitlelere ulaşan yapım, Aile Dizimi Yönteminin tanınmasına ve popülerleşmesine katkı sunmuş; aynı zamanda bireylerin kendi geçmişleriyle yüzleşme süreçlerine dair görsel bir model oluşturmuştur. Sonuç olarak Zeytin Ağacı, Aile Dizimini bireysel şifalanma ve kimlik inşası süreci ile ilişkilendirerek dramatik anlatı içinde etkili bir araç olarak temsil etmekte fakat bilimsel sorgulamalara yeterince yer vermemektedir.

N2  - This article examines how the Family Constellation Method, which has not yet been scientifically validated in the literature, is integrated into the narrative of the Turkish TV series Another Self. The aim of the study is to analyze how the Family Constellation Method, which is already a controversial topic in the literature, is visualized through the series, the effects of this method on the characters and the perspective presented to the audience regarding the method. The analysis takes into consideration how the unconscious traumas transferred unconsciously within the family are reflected in the communication between individuals, how traumas shape individuals' behaviors and how they resolve them. Therefore, the study is important in terms of showing how the Family Constellation Method plays a role in the process of resolving traumas and how the series introduces this method to popular culture. Qualitative research method was adopted in the study and typical case sampling was used. Eight episodes from the first season of the series were analyzed by thematic analysis method to make sense of how the Family Constellation Method was included in the narrative. The main themes identified in this direction are: Intergenerational trauma, communication breakdown and reconnection, and spiritual healing. Family Constellation was integrated into the series in a positive manner, in line with the views on the healing potential of the method. However, the scientific controversy of the method is ignored due to the series' presentation that lacks critical distance. In this way, it is seen that the series adopts a narrative that glorifies the method rather than reflecting the risks in the therapeutic process. The production, which reached a wide audience through Netflix, contributed to the recognition and popularization of the Family Constellation Method; at the same time, it created a visual model of the process of individuals confronting their own pasts. In conclusion, Another Self represents Family Constellation as an effective tool in dramatic narrative by associating it with the process of individual healing and identity construction, but it does not give enough space to scientific questioning.
