The focus group interviews conducted with the participants selected with the homogeneous (similar) sampling method in six different sessions between 29.03.2021 and 23.08.2021 were recorded with a voice recorder; and then analyzed. The documents were analyzed through the codes created with the Maxquda software program. The findings of this study show that when the participants’ views on the theme of the residence and its surroundings are examined, the low-income group’s views on the code of poorly maintained and inadequate facilities/recreation areas are most common, while the participants living in luxury complexes find these areas more adequate. This study ultimately reveals, through the case of Karaman, that the housing production process in Türkiye has turned into socio-spatial segregation, especially with the production of luxury housing.}, number={48}, publisher={Kenan ÇELİK}
