AB  - İçerik kalitesi ve kullanılabilirlik düzeyi, günümüzdeİnternet sitelerinin en önemli sorunlarından biri olarakgörünmektedir. İnternet kullanıcıları kontrolü çok zorolan bu sanal ortamda yaptıkları bilgi taraması sonucundaulaştıkları verilerin doğru bilgi olup olmadığınıntespiti konusunda yetersiz kalabilmektedirler. İnternet,taşıdığı benzersiz özellikler dolayısıyla herkesin serbestçeulaşabildiği ve istediği her türlü veriyi aktarabildiğibir alan olduğundan buradaki mevcut bilginin kalitelive güvenilir olduğunu söylemek çok zordur. Bu sebepleözellikle bu konuda bilinçli ve bilgili olmayan kullanıcılaraçısından bu kontrolsüzlük doğru bilgiye erişimkonusunda ciddi bir tehdit unsuru olarak görünmektedir.Bu makale çalışması internet kullanıcılarının hembu probleminin çözümüne yönelik bir yöntem önermekhem de internet sitelerinin kullanılabilirlik düzeyini belirleyebilmekamacıyla yazılmıştır.Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde İnternet üzerindeki enformasyonkalitesinin belirlenememesi problemine değinilmiştir.Sanal ortamdaki enformasyonun çeşitliliği vekalite belirsizliğinin yaratabileceği sorunlar öne çıkarılmıştır.İkinci bölümde bu soruna ilişkin yapılan literatürtaraması sonucunda ulaşılmış internet site kalitesiölçümleme modelleri anlatılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde isebir önceki bölümde anlatılan kalite ölçme yöntemlerininyetersiz kaldığı noktalar vurgulanarak yeni bir kalite değerlendirmemodelinin gerekliliği üzerinde durulmuştur.Son bölümde ise önerilen yeni kalite ölçümleme modelikullanılarak, araştırma örneklemi olarak seçilen internetsiteleri değerlendirilmiş ve bu değerlendirme sonucundaçeşitli bulgular elde edilerek, tespit edilen kalite problemlerineyönelik çözüm önerileri sunulmaya çalışılmıştır.
