Ancak elde edilen parçaların yüzey kalitesi ve geometrik doğruluğu, çoğunlukla son işlem adımlarını zorunlu kılar. Bu çalışmada, katman kalınlığı ile kesme ve ilerleme hızlarının, delik çapı, silindiriklik, delaminasyon ve yüzey pürüzlülüğü üzerindeki etkileri değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular, kesme hızının delik doğruluğu, ilerleme hızının silindiriklik ve her iki parametrenin delaminasyon üzerinde etkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Yüzey kalitesi ile boyutsal tutarlılığın dengelenmesi adına düşük katman kalınlığı, yüksek kesme ve orta düzeyde ilerleme hızı önerilmektedir.
