Doomscrolling refers to constantly focusing on negative news on the internet and social media, and artificial intelligence anxiety refers to the general anxiety experienced by individuals after the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies and their integration into society. Within this scope, the relationships between doomscrolling, artificial intelligence anxiety, and job finding anxiety were examined. A convenience sampling method was preferred, and data were obtained from 464 students studying at Süleyman Demirel University through surveys. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS. The results revealed a significant and positive relationship between doomscrolling and both job finding anxiety and artificial intelligence anxiety. Similarly, a significant and positive relationship was found between artificial intelligence anxiety and job finding anxiety. Furthermore, it has been observed that artificial intelligence anxiety acts as a mediator in the relationship between doomscrolling and job finding anxiety. According to the results, individuals who constantly focus on negative news online are more likely to experience job finding anxiety and increased anxiety about artificial intelligence, and artificial intelligence anxiety also increases job-finding anxiety. KW - Doomscrolling KW - job finding anxiety KW - artificial intelligence anxiety.
