Kuluçka süresi 2-14 gündür. Hastalığın yayılmasına asemptomatik olgular da katkıda bulunmaktadır. En riskli grup sağlık çalışanlarıdır ve bronkoskopide risk yüksektir. Bu çalışma ile kliniğimizde salgın döneminde ve 2019 yılı aynı tarihler arasında yapılan bronkoskopik işlemler ve olgular arasındaki farklılıkları ortaya koymayı amaçladık. Materyal ve Metod Çalışmamıza 11 Mart 2020 ve 30 Mayıs 2020 tarihleri ile 11 Mart ve 30 Mayıs 2019 tarihleri arasında Koç Üniversitesi Göğüs Hastalıkları Kliniği’ nce bronkoskopi yapılmış olan olgular dahil edildi. 2019’ da bronkoskopi yapılan olgu grubu Grup-1, 2020’ de bronkoskopi yapılan olgu grubu Grup-2 olarak adlandırıldı. Bulgular Çalışmaya toplam 120 olgu alındı. Yaş ortalamaları 61.25±15.41 idi. Grup-1 ve Grup-2 olguların işlemlerden önceki BT çekilme zamanı ve BT’ de buzlu cam infiltrasyonu bulunma oranları arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunamadı (p>0.05). Bronkoskopi endikasyonları içinde malignite oranı Grup-2 olgularda daha yüksek, bronşial temizlik ve mikrobiyolojik örnekleme oranı Grup-2 olgularda daha düşüktü (p<0.05). Grup-2’ deki olgulara genel anestezi uygulanma oranı istatistiksel olarak daha yüksekti (p<0,05). Grup-2’ deki ameliyathanede yapılan bronkoskopi oranının Grup-1’ e göre istatistiksel olarak anlamı olarak yüksek olduğu görüldü (p<0.01). Grup-2’ deki olguların hiçbirinde ve işlemlerde görevli sağlık personelinde işlemden sonraki 15 gün içerisinde COVID gelişmedi. Sonuç Bu çalışmanın sonuçları, pandemi dönemlerinde bronkoskopik işlemlerin mutlak kontrendike olmadığını, ulusal ve uluslararası rehberlere uygun hareket edilerek gerekli olan önlemler alındığında hasta ve personelin enfekte olmasının önüne geçilebileceğini düşündürmektedir. Introduction and purpose COVID-19 disease is transmitted through droplets and contact. The incubation period is 2-14 days. Asymptomatic cases also contribute to the spread of the disease. The most risky group is healthcare workers and the risk is high in bronchoscopy. With this study, we aimed to reveal the differences between bronchoscopic procedures and cases performed in our clinic during the epidemic period and between the same dates in 2019. Material and Method Cases who underwent bronchoscopy at Koç University Chest Diseases Clinic between March 11, 2020 and May 30, 2020 and between March 11 and May 30, 2019 were included in our study. The case group that underwent bronchoscopy in 2019 was named Group-1, and the case group that underwent bronchoscopy in 2020 was named Group-2. Results A total of 120 cases were included in the study. The average age was 61.25±15.41. No significant difference was found between the CT scan time of Group-1 and Group-2 cases before the procedures and the rates of ground glass infiltration on CT (p>0.05). Among bronchoscopy indications, the malignancy rate was higher in Group-2 cases, and the bronchial cleaning and microbiological sampling rate was lower in Group-2 cases (p<0.05). The rate of general anesthesia was applied to the cases in Group-2 was statistically higher (p<0.05). It was observed that the rate of bronchoscopy performed in the operating room in Group-2 was statistically significantly higher than in Group-1 (p<0.01). COVID did not develop in any of the cases in Group-2 and in the healthcare personnel assigned to the procedures within 15 days after the procedure. Conclusion The results of this study suggest that bronchoscopic procedures are not absolutely contraindicated during pandemic periods, and that infection of patients and staff can be prevented by taking the necessary precautions in accordance with national and international guidelines.}, number={1}
