Alçak gönüllü liderlik; liderin kendi eksikliklerini kabul etmesi, başkalarının katkılarını takdir etmesi ve öğrenmeye açık olması gibi özellikleriyle psikolojik güvenliği artırarak çalışanların yaratıcı davranışlarını destekleyen bir yaklaşımdır. Çalışmada literatürde yer alan, 2010–2024 yılları arasında yayımlanmış, alçak gönüllü liderlik ve yaratıcılık arasındaki ilişkiye yönelik 14 ampirik çalışmanın bulguları meta-analiz yöntemiyle ele alınmıştır. Meta-analiz sürecinde rastgele etkiler modeli benimsenmiş ve etki büyüklüklerinin heterojenliği Q testi, I² ve tau² değerleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, alçak gönüllü liderlik ile yaratıcılık arasında orta düzeyde pozitif ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmaktadır (r = 0.47). Ayrıca, yayın yanlılığını değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılan Egger, Begg, Fail-Safe N ve Trim and Fill testlerine ait sonuçlar, çalışmanın güvenilirliğini teyit etmektedir. Grafiksel analizler de bireysel çalışmaların genel modelle yüksek oranda tutarlı olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu sonuçlar, alçak gönüllü liderliğin yalnızca etik değerlerle değil, aynı zamanda örgütsel yaratıcılıkla da anlamlı bir şekilde ilişkili olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Çalışma, literatürdeki çelişkili bulgulara açıklık getirmekte ve alçak gönüllülüğün yaratıcı potansiyeli destekleyen etkisini ampirik olarak güçlendirmektedir. Bu bağlamda, uygulayıcılara yönelik liderlik geliştirme programlarında alçak gönüllü liderliğin dikkate alınması önerilmektedir. Humble leadership, characterized by acknowledging personal limitations, appreciating others’ contributions, and openness to learning, can enhance psychological safety and foster creative behavior in organizational settings. In this study, the findings of 14 empirical studies published between 2010 and 2024, which examine the relationship between humble leadership and creativity, were analyzed using the meta-analysis method. A random-effects model was adopted, and the heterogeneity of effect sizes was evaluated using Q-statistic, I², and tau² values. The findings reveal a moderately strong and statistically significant positive relationship between humble leadership and creativity (r = 0.47). Furthermore, publication bias tests—including Egger’s regression, Begg’s rank correlation, Fail-Safe N, and the Trim and Fill method—confirmed the robustness of the results. Graphical analyses also indicated a high level of consistency between individual study effects and the overall model. These results demonstrate that humble leadership is not only associated with ethical behavior but also significantly related to organizational creativity. The study clarifies conflicting findings in the literature and empirically reinforces the creative potential of humble leadership. Accordingly, it is recommended that leadership development initiatives incorporate humble leadership as a key dimension to promote innovation in contemporary organizations.
