AB  - Bu çalışma, bir akustik ve bir dijital piyanonun tınısal özelliklerinin karşılaştırılması amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Her iki piyanodan elde edilen ses kayıtları yüksek hassasiyetli Rode NT2-A mikrofon kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Mikrofon, her iki çalgıya da 1 metre mesafe ile yerleştirilmiş, böylece kayıtların homojenliği sağlanmıştır. Üç farklı ses yapısı—tek bir nota (La), iki nota (Do-Mi) ve üç nota (Re-Fa-La)—her iki piyanoda aynı koşullar altında icra edilip kaydedilmiştir. Kayıtların spektral analizi Audacity programı ile gerçekleştirilmiş ve her bir sesin temel frekansı ile doğuşkan frekansları ve desibel seviyeleri tespit edilmiştir. Özellikle temel frekansın ardından gelen ilk sekiz doğuşkanın frekans ve ses seviyeleri belirlenmiş, bu veriler tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Analiz sonuçları, dijital piyanonun doğuşkan seslerinin ses seviyelerinin genel olarak temel frekans seviyesinin oldukça altında kaldığını göstermiştir. Buna karşın, akustik piyanoda doğuşkan sesler, temel frekansa daha yakın seviyelerde kalmıştır. Ayrıca, üç nota analizinde, dijital piyanoda bir doğuşkan frekansın olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçları, dijital piyanonun doğuşkanlarının akustik piyanoya göre belirgin farklılıklar gösterdiğini ve bu durumun müzikal performans üzerinde önemli etkileri olabileceğini ortaya koymaktadır. Özellikle müzik eğitimi ve performans değerlendirmelerinde, enstrüman tercihlerinin daha bilinçli yapılmasına katkıda bulunmayı hedefleyen bu çalışma, dijital teknolojilerin müzik eğitimine entegrasyonunda dikkat edilmesi gereken noktaları vurgulamaktadır. Bu bulgular, müzik yetenek sınavları ve profesyonel performanslar gibi alanlarda, dijital piyanoların uygunluğunun yeniden değerlendirilmesi gerektiğini önermektedir.

N2  - This study aims to compare the timbral characteristics of an acoustic and an electronic piano. Sound recordings from both pianos were made using a high-precision Rode NT2-A microphone. The microphone was positioned one meter away from each instrument to ensure the homogeneity of the recordings. Three different sound structures—a single note (A), two notes (C-E), and three notes (D-F-A)—were played and recorded under the same conditions for both pianos. Spectral analysis of the recordings was conducted using the Audacity software, focusing on identifying the fundamental frequency of each sound as well as the frequencies and decibel levels of the harmonic overtones. Specifically, the frequencies and sound levels of the first eight overtones following the fundamental frequency were determined and presented in tables. The analysis results indicated that the overtone sound levels of the electronic piano were generally significantly lower than the level of the fundamental frequency. In contrast, the overtone sound levels of the acoustic piano were closer to the fundamental frequency. Additionally, in the analysis of the three notes, one overtone frequency was found to be absent in the electronic piano. The findings of this study reveal significant differences in the overtone characteristics between the electronic and acoustic pianos, which could have important implications for musical performance. This study, aiming to contribute to more informed instrument choices in music education and performance evaluation, highlights key considerations for integrating digital technologies into music education. These findings suggest that the suitability of electronic pianos for contexts such as music aptitude tests and professional performances should be reassessed.
