The growing integration of renewable energy sources, the electrification of transportation, and the proliferation of portable electronic devices have significantly increased the demand for compact, reliable, and high-efficiency converter designs. Recent advancements in semiconductor technologies, particularly those based on wide-bandgap materials, have further accelerated the development and deployment of diverse converter topologies. This study provides a comprehensive review of both conventional and emerging DC-DC converter configurations, examining their operating principles, performance characteristics, suitability for specific applications, and design complexity. Furthermore, a bibliometric analysis has been conducted to identify prevailing research trends, influential contributors, and collaborative networks within the field. By critically evaluating the advantages and limitations of each topology, the study aims to support future research directions and technological innovations in power electronics.}, number={3}, publisher={MUSA YILMAZ}
