In the context of enterprise solutions, open-source projects play a crucial role, with Hyperledger being one of the most comprehensive initiatives in this field. Supported by the Linux Foundation, the Hyperledger project consists of a suite of frameworks and tools designed for enterprise blockchain applications.This study examines the most widely used frameworks within the Hyperledger ecosystem, namely Fabric, Sawtooth, Indy, Iroha, and Besu. Each framework’s architecture, consensus mechanisms, security features, and application areas are analyzed in detail, and their fundamental differences are compared. For instance, Hyperledger Fabric offers scalable solutions with its modular architecture, whereas Sawtooth stands out with its innovative Proof of Elapsed Time (PoET) consensus algorithm. Indy is optimized for identity management applications, while Iroha focuses on mobile integration. Besu, on the other hand, supports Ethereum compatibility, making it suitable for financial and enterprise use cases. Hyperledger’s permissioned blockchain structures provide significant advantages in terms of data security and privacy, while also being evaluated for their scalability and flexibility. Additionally, real-world use cases of Hyperledger technology are explored in various domains, including supply chain management, healthcare records, financial services, and identity verification.Finally, the future potential of the Hyperledger ecosystem, current challenges in the field, and its impact on academic research are discussed. This study aims to serve as a comprehensive resource for researchers and industry professionals seeking to evaluate blockchain technology from an enterprise perspective.}, number={1}
