To achieve this aim, articles published in online databases over the past decade were reviewed, and twenty-six studies meeting the inclusion criteria were analysed using a case study design. Data were collected through document analysis, examined with the “Cyber Dating Abuse Article Classification Form,” and analyzed through descriptive analysis. The findings indicate that participants in cyber dating violence studies primarily consist of adolescents and adults, that the majority are students, and that many have prior relationship experience. Participants were found to experience both victimization and combined victim–perpetrator roles within cyber dating violence. For victims, key risk factors included being female, substance use, and involvement in long-term relationships, alongside additional psychosocial risks. Protective factors identified in the studies included parental closeness, interpersonal power, psychological resilience, and peer support. Various psychological effects were observed, with depressive symptoms being the most prominent. These findings were discussed within the framework of the existing literature, and recommendations were provided. CR - Badenes-Sastre, M., Medinilla-Tena, P., Spencer, C.
